The delegation of the RA Ministry of Finance is on a working visit to the city of Samarkand (The Republic of Uzbekistan) in order to participate in the 32nd annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
On the first day of the visit, on May 16, the representatives of the Ministry of Finance had a meeting with EBRD President Odile Renaud-Basso, during which the issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
The reference was made to the 33rd annual meeting of the EBRD Board of Governors to be held next year in Yerevan.
The organizational details of the latter's holding and the developments of the implemented works were also discussed with the EBRD Secretary General Kazuhiko Koguchi and Stefania Galbiati Ball, the head of the EBRD protocol department.
A separate meeting was held with the Head of EBRD Eurasia Infrastructure Issues Ekaterina Miroshnik, during which the existing and future possible infrastructure projects were discussed.
Armenia participates in the annual meeting of the EBRD Board of Governors as the next host country.
At the business forum, a separate booth is dedicated to Armenia, where the country's investment environment is presented and potential investors can familiarize themselves with the main opportunities and advantages of conducting economic activity in Armenia.
