The delegation of the RA Ministry of Finance participated in the annual financial forum in Moscow on September 28 at the invitation of the RF Ministry of Finance. The delegation comprised Armen Gevorgyan, Adviser to the RA Minister of Finance, Garik Petrosyan, head of the macroeconomic policy department, and Karen Alaverdyan, Head of Department of Accounting and Audit Activities Regulation and Reports Monitoring.
During the forum titled "Russia's financial and economic system in the period of global transformation", Garik Petrosyan made a presentation on "The modern system and tools of the RA fiscal policy" and presented the fiscal policy, forecasting system, and tools of the RA Ministry of Finance, along with studies on the stability of the RA state debt and fiscal rules.
At the conference, several bilateral meetings took place to discuss current and pertinent issues with Russian Deputy Ministers of Finance T. Maksimov, A. Lavrov, V. Kolichev, as well as the Executive Director of the Eurasian Stabilization and Development Fund A. Shirokov.
Working meetings were also conducted with colleagues from the Research Financial Institute of the RF Ministry of Finance, covering various topics of mutual interest.
