On May 30, the discussions of the Annual Report on State Budget Execution of the Republic of Armenia for 2017 continued at the joint sitting of the NA committees.
According to Finance Minister Atom Janjughazyan, the adjusted revenues of the 2017 budget amounted to AMD 1 trillion 320.9 billion, where the tax revenues and state duties were more than 91.2 percent. According to him, the weight of tax revenues increased by 1.6 percent and made AMD 1 trillion 158 billion, and the adjusted indicator was AMD 1 trillion 205 billion.
In 2012, 22 programs were planned for the RA Ministry of Economic Development and Investments: the actual budget comprised AMD 2.8 billion, and the adjusted performance was around 96.45 percent. The amount provided for statutory issues of the Development Foundation of Armenia (DFA) was used by 94 percent or amounted to AMD 349 million.
The key programs implemented by the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources were foreign assistance programs. In general, the Ministry used AMD 10.3 billion in 2017, which made 74.54 percent of the adjusted program, in particular AMD 9.4 billion or 72.8 percent of the adjusted program was used within the framework of foreign assistance programs.
“For the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies, it was envisaged AMD 26.8 billion in 2017, but according to the Ministry's needs during the year, the adjusted program made AMD 64 billion. The verification was only conditioned by the factor of external assistance programs. As a result, the use made AMD 55.5 billion or 86.42 percent”, - said the Finance Minister.
About AMD 807.6 million were envisaged for the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia, and the performance was about 96 percent or AMD 774.3 million.
In the reporting year the budget of the RA State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition made AMD 314.2 million, or 98.95 percent of the program index was implemented.
The means envisaged for the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre under the Government of the Republic of Armenia were used by 87.11 percent or about AMD 3.5 billion.
The program index of the State Urban Development Committee under the Government of the Republic of Armenia was clarified throughout the year: the envisaged AMD 3.8 billion became AMD 7.7 billion by the adjusted plan, for which 99.51 percent was recorded.
"The state budget of the RA MEINR State Committee of Water Economy was initially envisaged to be AMD 19.1 billion, but by the adjusted plan it made AMD 38.3 billion, and 87.9 percent of performance was recorded or AMD 33.7 billion were used”, - said Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan.
During the discussions the responsible persons for the presented spheres also touched upon the implemented programs and recorded performances, followed by a question-and-answer session.
