The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia accepted the mission of the International Monetary Fund
The RA Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan accepted the mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The mission is in Armenia as part of the third revision of the reserve program.
The measures envisaged by the program are aimed at the implementation of reforms in the areas of fiscal and monetary policies, financial sector, as well as infrastructure, business environment, and labor market.
Minister Hovhannisyan thanked IMF partners for their willingness to support the important reforms of the RA government and for the existing effective cooperation.
The Minister also highly appreciated the availability of multi-sector technical assistance provided by the IMF for the implementation of reforms within the framework of the Program.
