Today, on December 20, the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan introduced the newly appointed minister Vahe Hovhannisyan to the staff of the Ministry of Finance.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the former minister, the newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, for his work as the Minister of Finance. Additionally, the Prime Minister congratulated Vahe Hovhannisyan on his new role and wished him success.
"We are in a very important period, where on the one hand we have certain new economic dynamics, on the other hand, more and more serious security challenges. In this context, the management of public finances, the implementation of the state budget, the accurate and efficient implementation of the expenditure sector will play a very important role in terms of the management of all these processes," stated the Prime Minister.
The newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan stated in his speech that he is confident that Mr. Hovhannisyan and his colleagues will best fulfill the 2023 plan that is set before them. Deputy Prime Minister Khachatryan expressed his willingness to support the effective implementation of the works carried out by the Ministry.
The recently appointed Minister of Finance, Vahe Hovhannisyan, also thanked the Prime Minister for his trust and appreciation.
"It is a great honor for me to serve the Republic of Armenia through this role. I am confident that the entire team at the Ministry of Finance, including myself, will exert our utmost efforts to elevate public finance management in Armenia to a standard on par with the most advanced countries worldwide," said Vahe Hovhannisyan.
