The Minister of Finance, Vahe Hovhannisyan, hosted Ivana Fernandes Duarte, the Regional Director of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for the South Caucasus.
During the meeting, discussions included a reference to the IFC's portfolio in Armenia, an overview of the implementation process of existing programs, and the recording of progress achieved on both sides.
The Regional Director of the IFC presented the framework for Armenia's partnership in the coming years, emphasizing, in particular, potential initiatives in green buildings and renewable energy.
Emphasizing the mentioned directions, the parties discussed prospective sectors and potential programs within the framework of public-private partnerships in Armenia. This included support for forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as initiatives related to housing, employment, education, and road construction.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue active collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
